Cycle B: Summer 1 - 'Fantasy and adventure'

We listened to a variety of non fiction and fiction texts. These included books about castles, 'Marmaduke the very different dragon', 'Bog baby' and 'Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs'. 

We learnt facts about castles, the importance of understanding similarities and differences between ourselves and others, developing our creative and communication skills when we created our own 'Bog Baby' and developing our writing, mark making and personal and social skills when we looked after our own dinosaur, to name just a few activities.

We have also been learning about the Christian Baptism and in art, being inspired by Andy Warhol to create our own nature Pop Art prints. 

We were delighted to have 'Tiny Tweeties' visit us, where we were able to join in music and movement workshops.
