Assistant Headteacher - Miss Cavill

I would like to use this opportunity to express how proud and privileged I feel working at St Helen’s Primary School, it has been an honour to teach and get to know the pupils and families of the local community over the years.

I began my teaching career in September 2003 and joined the teaching staff at St Helen’s Primary in September 2004.  Throughout this time, I have gained a wealth of experiences within education and have had the opportunity to fulfil a number of roles: class teacher, Geography Co-ordinator, Literacy Co-ordinator, Key Stage Two Team Leader and most recently Curriculum Lead. 

I am passionate about education and ensuring that all children have opportunities to achieve and be the best that they can be.

I am extremely excited to take on the position of Assistant Head this academic year and the new challenges the position will provide.
